Emergency Communications Services

There are several Emergency Communications and Community Service Groups in Charlotte, Lee, and Sarasota Counties. These provide Opportunities for like-minded Hams to meet new operators and use their Ham Radio skills and knowledge to assist their communities in the event of a disaster or other emergency incidences! Some information is provided below. Knowledgeable EARS members are happy to discuss these organizations further with EARS members. Note that a Membership application of a "groups.io" website and approval is usually required to receive Groups email notifications.
